Jean Mill and I were such very good friends and I tried to get to visit her as much as I could! We had so many wonderful visits.  I had been taught a lot about genetics at a very young age from some truly brilliant Sheep breeders, that got me to where I am today.  Jean was a well-known Genesis.

Jean had a wonderful dream she wanted to produce kittens and cats that looked like the wild Asian leopard cat; however, have the temperament of the domestic cat.  She also wanted the cats and kittens to have the beautiful whited tummies that most wild cats had. 

 This was a very exciting adventure and I loved working on this very much.  We worked on the big round nocturnal eyes lined with black, the large rosettes with a lovely flow, that if you held them up you could imagen the rosettes flowing off their backs.

 I wanted good health, temperament, wonderful movement first then color coat and pattern.  I was very strict with my program.  Every year Had thrilling new achievements.

 The whited tummy was a little trickier than some of the other developments of this breed.  I can still see her smile when I brought here a whited cat, kitten or even a picture of one I had raised.  She gave my so much encouragement!  I loved her dearly.  She is no longer with us however I can still however see in my mind her lovely smile! 

 At this time the majority of my cats all have beautiful whited tummies! She was so right having this really makes the cats special.  Below you will see some of the first whited cats or cats from other catteries I perched, to build my lines.  This page is my favorite as it shows some the history of the evolution of the breed.  I hope you enjoy the pictures!

 At the top you will see just how beautiful the later generation has become!  Jean was so right the whited tummy really makes them pop especially on the darker cats!
